Water Safety for P.E.

The classes have been learning about rips and currents over the last couple of weeks, as well as how to keep themselves safe in the water, how to help others and how to use different devices to keep themselves afloat.

Weetbix TRYathlon

We will be having practices every Friday morning at 7.45am stating from next week. There will be no practice though on the last week of school.

We will be having practices every Friday morning from 7.45am down by the school pool. Practices start next Friday and there will not be a practice on the last week of school.

 

Martial Arts Champion

Here is Emily Ducker, who I happened to run into on Monday morning in the office. She had just competed in her national tournament in the weekend and as you can see, did really well. There will be more information in our next news letter, but here is a photo of Emily with some of her trophies.

Netball- Year 3 and 4 Thursday Night Teams

It was a beautiful evening this evening as our Year 3 and 4 netball teams took the the court and put on a display of some awesome passing and shooting skills as well as that amazing Gladstone sportsmanship.

Tonight’s Yr 5 & 6 Netball

It wasn’t the best weather to be playing netball in tonight, or watching netball. But that didn’t stop our netball teams or their supporters as they braved the weather tonight and not only played really well, they had amazing attitudes out there on the court. It was an awesome night of netball.
